Abstract | It is debated whether there are two kinds of different numerosity representation systems for small number and large number, respectively. We built a model with the numerosity detector neurons to simulate cognitive process of numerositiy representation. Our results are consistent with the electrophysiological data and show the continuity between small and large numbers. |
