Abstract    人脑局部功能一致性刻画脑功能活动同步强度,反映脑功能活动空间分布边界。基于皮层的局部功能一致性测量的是皮层上一个顶点与其相邻点之间血氧依赖水平(BOLD)信号活动的肯德尔系数,是对灰质神经元活动的间接测量。局部功能一致性指标不仅具有很高的重测信度,而且有着重要的神经生物学意义和结构基础;它能够反映大脑皮层处理信息的复杂程度或功能加工等级。目前尚缺乏对局部功能一致性的毕生发展和行为关联的研究。本论文包括两个研究,一是局部功能一致性的毕生发展轨线,二是局部功能一致性与智力的关联。
Other Abstract    Human  brain's  local  functional  homogeneity  characterizes  the  strength  of regionally functional synchronization, and reflects the boundary of functionally heterogeneous regions. Surface-based regional homogeneity (2dReHo) measures the neural activity in gray matter, and it defines the Kendall's coefficient of a given vertex and its nearest neighbors. 2dReHo has been demonstrated highly test-retest reliable, and been with the neurobiological significance and structural basis. It represents the complexity or functional hierarchy of information processing. Few studies have investigated the lifespan development of 2dReHo and its behavior associations. This study aimed to examine the lifespan development trajectories of 2dReHo by using both linear and quadratic models as well as the intelligence association of 2dReHo.
    The results showed that, 1) Positive correlations between age and 2dReHo across the lifespan (6一85 years) were detected in bilateral superior temporal gyros, which means 2dReHo in these regions increase with age; Regions showed reduced 2dReHo with age include bilateral anterior cingulate, medial superior frontal gyros, right superior part of precentral sulcus, and insular 2) Men showed higher 2dReHo in the inferior frontal gyros, inferior part of precentral sulcus and superior temporal gyros, while women have higher 2dReHo in inferior parietal sulcus, posterior cingulate gyros and precuneus; 3) Different lifespan development trajectories of 2dReHo were found in right occipital gyros and cuneus gyros. Female showed increased 2dReHo in these regions while male presented opposite trend; 4) Negative quadratic trajectories (the inverted U-shaped curve) of 2dReHo was observed in the regions of bilateral central sulcus and postcentral gyros. We also found a positive quadratic trajectory (the U一shaped curve) in the right fusiform gyros; 5) 2dReHo in the left superior and middle frontal gyros showed negative correlations with FSIQ whereas the verbal IQ exhibited negative correlation with 2dReHo in central motor cortex and positive correlations in the right middle frontal gyros and bilateral superamarginal gyros.
    This study provided some preliminary laboratory data for further understanding of human brain's local functional activity, its lifespan development trajectory, gender difference, and the association with intelligence.
