Posttraumatic stress disorder ( abbreviation is PTSD), which is a kind of anxiety disorder, is the mental or psychological disorder that happens a few days or 6 months after a sudden, threatening or catastrophic life events. The relationship between anxiety and attentional bias becomes the focus among large numbers of cognitive studies related with anxiety. According to DSM-IV Diagnostic standard, there exists over-vigilance to threat stimulus in posttraumatic stress disorder, as key clinical symptoms. The characteristic and mechanism of attentional bias in PTSD individuals can be examined by using different paradigms. The whole study can be divided into two parts. On the base of the main effect of PTSD, dot probe task, emotional stroop paradigm, the cue target task and the visual search task was explored with materials of ICPS (high-fear faces, happy faces and neutral faces) from the aspect of spatial processing, disengagement of attention. There were 32 aging PTSD participants selected from 218 persons, which diagnosed by psychiatrist. The results indicated that: First, with aging adult in PTSD, were vigilant to the fear stimulus at the exposure duration of 500ms, and there doesn’t exit traumatic specific fear attentional bias. Second, attentional bias for fear stimulus was found in PTSD aging adults, and it was because the PTSD individuals were difficult to disengage from the fear stimulus.
