   轻度认知损伤（Mild Cognitive impairment, MCI)是指老年人的认知能力比同龄正常老年人有显著衰退，但并没有达到痴呆程度。本研究应用神经心理学方法，包括无意义图形再认测验、判断线方向测验、地图定向测验、道路记忆测验、科西块测验和表象旋转测验，探讨了34名轻度认知损伤老年人和34名同龄正常老年人的视觉空间能力特点。 
    本研究的主要结果如下:
    1.轻度认知损伤老年人在无意义图形再认、判断线方向、地图定向、道路记忆、科西块和表象旋转六项测验的成绩显著低于同龄正常老年人;
    2.呈现日常活动线索会在很大程度上提高轻度认知损伤老年人和正常老年人地图空间方位的定向和回忆成绩;
    3.轻度认知损伤老年人的视觉空间能力下降与其记忆下降相关联。
上述结果说明:轻度认知损伤老年人的视觉空间判断、记忆、表象等能力都较正常老年人显著受损;但日常活动线索会在很大程度上提高轻度认知损伤老年人的空间定向和回忆成绩。

    itive  ability of  old people are range from normal, to mild cognitive  impairment, to  obvious  dementia.  The  term  mild  cognitive impairment (MCI) refers to the state that memory is not normal but not meet conventional criteria for dementia.
    Current study is designed to explor the visuospatial ability and spatial memory span of the elderly with mild cognitive impairment. Figure Memory Test, Line Orientation Judge Test, Map Test, Route Memory Test, Corsi block test and Mental Rotation Test were used to investigate the Visuospatial ability of 34 MCI and 34 NC old people. The average age, sex, education level and profession of the two groups have no significant difference.
    It was demonstrated by the study that,
    1 .Comparing with NC group, the score in Line Orientation Judge Test, Map Test, Route Memory Test; Corsi block task and Mental Rotation Task of MCI group were low significantly.
    2. When  daily activity cue support combined with orientation and recognition task，both NC group and MCI group can improve their orientation and memory performance greatly.
    3. The visuospatial ability impairment in MCI group is related to memory impairment.
