NoteAbout 2000 college students were investigated about Internet Addiction (IA) and related mental health problems with compiled questionnaires and got 988 valid answer sheets. Of them , 603 students’16PF history data were also obtained. The results showed that 1. IA students were different from non-IA students in social support , life satisfaction , interaction anxiety , self consistence and congruence , self-rating depression and self2esteem; 2. IA students had more negative mental health factors and less positive mental health factors than non2IA students ; 3. IA students were different from non-IA students in several factors of the 16PF Test in their history data , which might be the primary reasons for IA.
