本研究的目的是:通过两级筛选，进一步验证中国儿童在学习汉语拼音时是否存在拼读困难，并通过认知心理学和实验神经心理学方法对拼读困难儿童(平均年龄7. 65岁)和同年龄正常儿童进行比较研究，以期深入了解他们的认知整合能力、精细分辩能力和大脑两半球协同活动的水平。研究结果提示:

1、拼读困难儿童无论在认知整合能力和精细分辩能力方面均比正常儿童差。这可能是拼读困难的认知心理学基础。

2、三视野速视法实验结果进一步提示:无论实验组被试或对照组被试歹在此年龄阶段上，大脑两半球在完成视觉计数任务时，其功能未见侧化。

3、拼读困难儿童两半球协同活动水平低于对照组，这可能是其认知整合能力较低和精细分辨能较差的神经心理学基础。

This research aims to testify further the question whether Chinese children have spelling difficulties in learning Chinese phonetic alphabet and to compare the children with spelling difficulties (aged 7. 65 yrs) with age一matched normal ones through the methods of cognitive psychology and experimental neuropsychology so that a deeper understanding can be gained about their ability of cognitive integration and accurate discrimination and also the level of cooperative activity of the two cerebral hemispheres. The result of the experiment suggests:

1. The children with spelling difficulties are inferior to the normal group in the ability of cognitive integration and accurate discrimination It could be the reason on aspect of cognitive psychology.

2. The result of the three visual field tachistoscope presentation suggests further that both the experiment group and control group at this age show no difference in the level of brain lateralisation of function. at performing the task of attentional scope.

3. That the children with spelling difficulties show lower level in the cooperative activity of two cerebral hemispheres than the control group is probably the neuropsychologic base for the lower ability of cognitive integration and accurate discrimination.
