其他摘要 | Relationship cohesion is very important for the result of relationship, which includes not only the affective components related to liking and satisfaction, but also the instrumental components related to shared tasks and goals. Previous studies have shown that the degree of emotional convergence (the similarity of emotional experience) between relationships is closely related to emotional and instrumental cohesion. However, there is still a lack of in-depth and systematic research on what kind of emotional convergence can predict relational cohesion, what the neurophysiological mechanism behind emotional convergence is, and what the prediction mechanism of affective and instrumental cohesion is. Therefore, based on the perspective of positive psychology, starting from the categories of positive emotion, this study reveals the prediction mechanism of emotional convergence and its physiological synergy on affective and instrumental cohesion between relationships. This paper includes the following five studies:
Study1 explored the structure of positive emotion and established standardized inducing materials for the measurement of positive emotion convergence in subsequent studies. In Study 1,experts and research assistants were recruited to select video clips to induce positive emotions according to the positive emotion structures (fun, empathy, creativity and esteem) combed by the literature review, and the above structures were verified by the combination of large sample behavior experiments and peripheral physiological records. The results show that in the systematic clustering of subjective evaluation, the structure of four categories of positive emotion induced by video clips is stable, and the support vector machine (SVM) classifier based on pulse wave (PPG) and galvanic skin response (GSR) features has achieved 44.66% classification accuracy.
Study 2 explored the predictive mechanism of positive emotional convergence and EEG synergy on relational affective cohesion in dyads. Study 2 (A) measured the empathy cohesion, fun cohesion and esteem cohesion of shared relationships (friends and lovers) using materials in Stdy 1,and measured the tendency to others' emotions and affective cohesion through questionnaires. The results show that both fun cohesion and esteem cohesion can mediate the prediction path from the tendency to others' emotions to affective cohesion. Study 2 (B) collected EEG signals of subjects with equally matching (strangers) and shared relationships when watching positive emotion videos by hyper-scanning, extracted the synergy features, and measured the emotional convergence of subjects with shared relationships with video time by continuous evaluation paradigm. The results show that in the inter-group difference, compared with the phase lock value (PLU), the inter subject correlation (ISC) of the alpha frequency band between the corresponding electrodes induced by empathic video in shared relationships is significantly higher than that of the equal matching relationships. At the same time, the results of Granger causality analysis show that, The ISC of alpha band between corresponding electrodes is also the reason for the change of cohesion in esteem and fun emotion. However, in the prediction of affective cohesion, the mediating effect of EEG physiological synergy is not significant.
Study 3 explored the prediction mechanism of positive emotional convergence and PPG synergy on relational affective cohesion in horizontal pluralistic relationships. Study 3 manipulated the high emotional convergence (military training students watch esteem videos) and low emotion convergence (watch other types of videos) in the shared relationship by inducing subjects' group identity. The PPG signals of subjects watching videos were collected by hyper-scanning and the synergy features were extracted, and the group emotional intelligence as well as the affective cohesion were measured by questionnaire. The results show that: at the behavioral level, esteem cohesion can mediate the prediction path of group emotional intelligence to affective cohesion; The ISC of PPG time domain characteristics was significantly higher than that of low emotional convergence under the condition of high emotional convergence; The ISC of PPG time domain characteristics under high emotional convergence can
moderate the indirect path of behavior level mediation effect.
Study 4 explored the prediction mechanism of creativity cohesion and EEG synergy on instrumental cohesion in horizontal dyads. Study 4 (A) measured the creativity cohesion of subjects with both equally matching and shared relationships using materials in Study 1,measured the tendency of emotional expression through questionnaire, and measured the instrumental cohesion level of dyads through the adapte ”dyadic go/no go" paradigm. The results show that the interaction effect of creativity cohesion and emotional expression tendency in predicting instrumental cohesion is significant, and emotional expression tendency plays a role in low emotional convergence. Study 4 (b) recorded the EEG signals of dyads in collaborative interaction through the adapted”graph pairing" paradigm, and measured the instrumental cohesion level. The results showed that the ISC of alpha band between frontal corresponding electrodes and the PLV of alpha band between non-frontal corresponding electrodes were significantly higher in subjects with high creativity cohesion than in subjects with low creativity cohesion; The interaction effect of EEG synergy and emotional expression tendency in predicting instrumental cohesion is significant, and emotional expression tendency plays a role in low EEG synergy.
Study 5 explored the prediction mechanism of creativity cohesion and GSR synergy on instrumental cohesion in the vertica dyads. In Study 5, under the real classroom situation, the GSR signals of teachers and students under the paradigm of "reading and following" were collected by hyper-scanning. Based on the”stability and influence model",the influence degree of teachers' physiological signals on students' physiological signals was calculated, and the level of teacher-student interaction, creativity cohesion and instrumental cohesion were measured through subjective evaluation. The results show that creativity cohesion can mediate the prediction path of teacher-student interaction level on teacher-student instrumental cohesion, and the influence of teacher-student GSR signal moderates the relationship between interaction
level and emotional convergence.
In conclusion, through the paradigm of EEG and peripheral physiological hyper-scanning, this study systematically explored the prediction mechanism of different categories of positive emotion convergence on relationship cohesion and the moderating role of neurophysiological synergy. This study verifies the constructive role of positive emotional convergence in relationship cohesion. The relevant research results can not only deepen the theoretical understanding of relationship cohesion, but also provide ideas for the automatic measurement of relationship cohesion based on physiological signals. |
