Influences of Parenting Style and The Teacher-Student Relationship on Self-directed Learning of High School Students: The Mediating Effect of Core Self-evaluations
Taking high school student as the research object ,this paper explores the influencing factors of self-directed learning. 306 senior high school students in Yunnan Province and Xiamen City were selected to study the relationship among parenting style , teacher-student relationship and self-directed learning, and the mediating role of core self-evaluation was also investigated.SPSS22.0 and Amos22.0 software were used for data analysis. The results show that :(1) Self-directed learning is significantly correlated with parenting style ,teacher-student relationship and core self-evaluation; (2)both parental emotional warmth and teacher-student relatioship have positive predictive effets on self-directed learning;(3)Core self-evaluation plays a role between parenting style ,teacher-student relationship and self-directed learning sub-mediation. The results confirm that parenting style and teacher-student relationship affect the psychological mechanism of the mediating role of self-directed learning and core self-evaluation of senior high school student, and provide suggestions for promoting self-directed learning of senior high school student.
