The results showed that （1） when search items randomly exchanged their locations every 120 ms or 220 ms, the efficiency of dynamic search was significantly lower than static search; （2） when search items randomly exchanged their locations every 420 ms, the search efficiency difference between dynamic search and static search was not significant. The results suggest that visual search involves memory and inhibition of return might play a role in visual search.
