其他摘要 | AbstractThe frequent occurrence of global ecological and environmental problems further highlights the urgency of environmental education. Although in recent years, China has focused on the construction of ecological civilization, continuously improved environmental governance, and overall improved the quality of ecological environment. But from the perspective of social management, there is still great room for improvement in people's environmental knowledge, environmental behavior and environmental literacy. Environmental education is one of the effective ways to improve public environmental literacy, solve regional environmental problems and achieve sustainable development. With the development of information technology, the form and carrier of science popularization have taken place in the new media era with great changes. The form of environmental science popularization education has evolved from graphic, television, audio and video to short video. However, there are few studies to explore the effect of environmental education in the form of new media. Therefore, this study made an attempt.Purpose: This study conducted an intervention experiment on video-based environmental education among some students in grade one and grade two of two different schools in Huangshan City, to explore the impact of video-based environmental education on children's environmental awareness under the background of new media, in order to provide suggestions on effective environmental education methods to improve children's environmental awareness for the government, schools, families and other relevant departments or institutions.Methods: This study adopted the experimental method, used online questionnaire and paper questionnaire to collect data, and used SPSS software for data analysis.Results: The results of this study are as follows:1. In Study 1 which in school, learning 7 environmental education videos at one time, children in the experimental group had significantly higher environmental knowledge than those in the control group. It shows that video environmental education can effectively improve children's environmental knowledge. However, video environmental education did not significantly promote children's environmental attitude and pro environmental behavior intention.2. In Study 2, with the video intervention of environmental education in 7 days and 7 classes at home, the environmental knowledge and environmental attitude of children in the experimental group were significantly improved, and the effect did not decrease with time, but there was no significant difference in children's willingness to pro environmental behavior.Conclusion: the conclusions of this study are as follows:Video-based environmental education can effectively promote children's environmental awareness, which is mainly reflected in the promotion of environmental knowledge and environmental attitude. Video intervention did not significantly promote children's Pro environmental behavior intention.Our findings provide preliminary insights for the state, environmental education-related sectors and families that a video environmental education approach may be appropriate when educating children about the environment in order to improve their knowledge and environmental attitudes, so as to promote the improvement of children's environmental awareness. |
