其他摘要 | The environmental problems, health problems, social and public security problems caused by drug-related crimes emerge endlessly all over the world, bringing huge risks to the survival and development of mankind. The emergence of drug addiction has a complex physiological basis, as well as a psychosocial mechanism, in which family factors play a key role in the development of addictive behavior. The codependency of family members is one of the important influencing factors of addictive behavior. The study of codependency began in the 1940s. Researchers found that alcoholics and their caregivers formed an abnormal balance between the need to be cared for and the need to take care of and control others. This relationship model has greatly hindered the rehabilitation of alcohol dependent people. The emergence of codependency enables researchers to look at the problem of addiction from new perspectives such as psychological diseases, personality disorders and interpersonal relationships. Reducing the level of codependency can break the cycle of bad behavior and bring more possibilities to solve the problem of addiction. The research on codependency in China has been about 20 years, but at present, the research objects are concentrated in students and other people, and there are few researches in addiction related fields. From this perspective, this study hopes to understand the level of codependency of drug users and criminal groups in China, and provide a new perspective for the research and intervention of drug addiction and other issues.
A total of 812 subjects were selected in the study. Among them, 195 female drug addicts were randomly selected from a female drug rehabilitation center in Henan Province for a paper questionnaire survey; 617 prisoners were randomly selected from a prison in Zhejiang to conduct an online questionnaire survey. CCDAT, FACESII-CV and CSQ were used as questionnaires. To compare the characteristics of codependency behavior between drug addicts and prisoners, the differences in family functions and coping styles, the relationship between the three, the analysis of influencing factors of codependency and the potential profile analysis of codependency. The results showed that: 1) Compared with female non drug addicts, female drug addicts had a higher overall level of codependency, a significantly lower family function and a more negative coping style. There was no significant difference in codependency level, family function and coping style between male groups, regardless of drug use or not; 2) The level of codependency of drug addicted men was higher than that of drug addicted women in all aspects, and the family function was lower than that of drug addicted women, but they had more positive coping styles. 3) Coping style had a significant predictive effect on the codependency of female drug users, and family function had a significant predictive effect on the codependency of male drug users. 4) The potential profile analysis shows that the codependency level is more suitable to be classified into three levels, namely, high, medium and low levels. Men were more likely to be classified into a higher level of codependency group than women, and drug users were more likely to be classified into a moderate codependency group than non drug users.
The above results show that the reason why drug addicts are infected with drugs is closely related to their codependency, family functions and negative coping styles; Women growing up in low functioning families are likely to lead to high levels of codependency and negative coping styles, which are closely related to the occurrence of drug abuse. Although male drug users have more positive coping styles than female drug users, the overall level of codependency is higher and the family function is lower. Because of social expectations and other reasons, they have developed positive coping styles to face fife, and their psychological states such as low self-worth, hiding self, and taking others as the center are serious and worthy of attention.
The results of this study have some practical significance for the prevention and intervention of drug addiction: 1) cognitive education on codependency characteristics, family functions and coping styles of drug addicts and their family members. 2) Use group therapy, behavior therapy, family therapy and other interventions to improve the level of codependency. 3) According to the different psychological characteristics of male and female drug users, targeted intervention was carried out. Promote female drug addicts' awareness of their negative coping styles, and help them learn to adopt more positive coping styles. |
