摘要	As has been noted by many psychologists and educators, child-rearing involves interaction between at least two parties, namely parent and child. Both parent and child therefore have a considerable effect on the course of a child's development. In this study we examined and compared the attitudes of parents and their children in five major categories in which parents and children may affect a child's development: education, health, daily life, future developmental expectations, and interpersonal relations. The roles of other figures in child development, including teachers, physicians, and peers, were considered within this context of a parent-child interaction.
