摘要	The relation between cognitive mechanism of inhibition and language comprehension skill was investigated in this research. Some irrelevant double-character words were inserted in a list of words or a sentence. Two groups of subjects respectively recognization task. The results showed less skilled comprehenders inhibit less efficiently the irrelevant information during lexical and sentence comprehension. So, less skilled comprehenders suffer from a less efficient inhibition mechanism, which we suggest as an important component of language comprehension skill.
