摘要 | The effects of footshock and footshock signal on humaoral immunity function and endocrine response after injection with ovalbumin (OVA) were examined in rats. Electric footshock was applied for inducing physical stress and footshock apparatus as shock signal stimuli induced the psychological stress. Data showed that footshock per se did not decrease significantly the primary humoral immune response, but footshock signal decreased the anti-OVA lgG antibody production and spleen weight index as well as the levels of catecholamine and corticosterone significantly. It was concluded that immune and endocrine system were capable of reacting specifically to psychological stimuli. |
