| 摘要 | The post-effects on humoral immune response and the level of norepinephrine of rats were analyzed following chronic emotional stress induced by randomly giving empty water bottles to rats during watering periods per day for 4 weeks. Rats were immunized with BSA one day after the last stress. Blood samples were taken 14 days post-immunization for determination of plasma norepinephrine and anti-BSA IgG concentrations. Data showed that rats that experienced stress had significant lower antibody titer than controls, but norepinephrine levels did not vary between groups, suggesting chronic stress has a post-effect on humoral response which may not be modulated by norepinephrine. |
