摘要	Inspection time (IT) has been linked to Speed of information processing which is looked as a key index of cognitive ability. In the present study, 30 children aged 11 with half intellectual supernormal and another half normal, participated the experiment, and the vertex ERPs, as well as the ITs, were recorded while they were engaged in performing a Visual Inspection Time (VIT) task. A zone of ERP, 100 to 300ms after stimulus onset was presented to reveal the relationship between ERPs components and ITs. The possible implications of the findings for cognitive development of super-normal children were analyzed.
