Abstract | The dynamic brain mechanisms on the visual spatial attention affected by different scale interference were investigated by with “precue-target” visual search paradigm of event-related potentials (ERPs) in normal youth subjects. The results showed that the posterior P1 amplitude evoked by target stimuli was larger when distractors were inside the cue range. However, the posterior N1 and anterior N1 were smaller than that the distractors out of the cue range. These indicated that the distribution of visual spatial attention not only increased the capacity of attentive range but also weakened the interference out of the attentive rang. |
