摘要 | Job search is an important part in people’s career. The current study surveyed 99 job seekers in China to test a job search model based on the theory of planned behavior. Job search intensity was hypothesized to be the outcome of job search intention, job search attitude, subjective norms, and job search self-efficacy. Stepwise regression demonstrated that subjective norms and self-efficacy were two strong predictors of job search frequency, while attitude was not. The results suggest that the job search intensity of Chinese job seekers may be more heavily influenced by their social pressure and efficacy beliefs. |
