其他摘要	Drivers’ visual selective RT was used to detect the variations in amount of spare mental resources during driving and speech processing. A driving simulator with the 3D visual scenes was used for laboratory tasks. 21 subjects were asked to drive while conducting four kinds of verbal tasks under situations varied in driving difficulty and in driving environment. It was found that the spare mental resources were changed significantly as a function of difficulty both in driving and in verbal communication. Under the highest dual-task difficulty condition, “red-line” effect was detected, and subjects slowed down their speed, which showed the limit-of-mental-resources.
