摘要	This study investigated 216 8-12 year-olds Chinese young adolescents’ evaluations of prosocial behaviors—helping, cooperation, sharing, comforting. Results showed that young adolescents evaluate the prosocial behaviors appeared in collectivism-orientated situations more positive than those in individualism-orientated situations; they expected they would do prosocially, but they were less likely to think that is their obligation. The appraisal of helping and comforting are higher, while that of cooperation is the lowest. In the sum, girls’ evaluating to four prosocial behaviors is higher than boys’, and there is a turning point of development of the evaluations for prosocial behaviors at about 10 year-olds.
