其他摘要 | With the aging of the population in our country is becoming more and more serious, the problem of providing for the aged is becoming more and more prominent. Due to the evolution of family structure in modern society, many elderly people choose nursing homes. The stability and quality of caregivers directly determine the safety and quality of nursing for the elderly. This study starts with the investigation of job burnout of caregivers, and analyzes the relationship between job burnout and depression, and explore the role of social support and coping styles for the relationship between job burnout and depression. The purpose of this study is to stabilize the caregiver teams, promote old-age nursing safety and quality.This study uses convenient sampling method in Beijing five nursing homes on 152 caregivers in questionnaire survey, and uses basic information form, Chinese Version of Maslach Burnout Inventory (CMBI), Depression self-rating scale PHQ-9, Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS) and Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ) as a research tool. Results:1. The detection rate of job burnout in caregivers is 52.4%;2. The dimension of emotional exhaustion and the depression were significantly different among caregivers with different ages, different kinds of education background, different kinds of marital status, having kids or not, and different occupational qualifications. (P < 0.01).3. Depression is significantly positively correlated with job burnout and its emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, reduced personal accomplishment respectively.4. Social support is significantly negatively correlated with depression, job burnout, the emotional exhaustion dimension and depersonalization of job burnout. Social support has a significant regulatory role on the relationship between job burnout and depression, and also on the relationship between burnout depersonalization and depression (P < 0.01),which can weaken the positive relationship between them.5. Positive coping style has a significant regulatory role on the relationship between the reduced personal accomplishment of job burnout and depression (P < 0.05), which can weaken the positive relationship between them.6. Negative coping style is significantly positively correlated with depression, job burnout, the emotional exhaustion dimension and depersonalization of job burnout. Negative coping style has a significant regulatory role on the relationship between job burnout and depression, and also on the relationship between the dimension of emotional exhaustion and depression (P < 0.01), which can enhance the positive relationship between them.Conclusion: The job burnout of caregivers should be paid attention , and the job burnout and mental health of young, well-educated, unmarried, childless and professional caregivers should be paid more attention. By improving the level of social support, guiding caregivers to use the positive coping styles and avoiding negative coping styles, to reduce burnout and depressive symptoms, and weaken the positive relationship between them, and to buffer the aggravation and development of job burnout and depressive. |
