其他摘要 | The development of science and technology has brought about the increase of more functions, and how to balance the relationship between increasing functions and good user experience has become a new challenge for the design of terminal products in the industry. To better cope with this challenge in the industry, this study aims to establish a user experience model of mobile police terminal equipment through systematic methods such as qualitative research and quantitative research. This study includes three parts: traffic police key scene research (Study 1), law enforcement recorder user experience model preliminary establishment (Study 2), and law enforcement recorder user experience model verification (Study 3).
The Study 1 aims to analyze traffic police business scenarios and discuss the need for mobile terminal equipment around key business scenarios. This study adopts the method of hierarchical task analysis, collects information utilizing literature analysis, user interviews and field observation, and extracts five main task scenarios, including road traffic facilitation, detection and suppression of drunk driving, illegal vehicle interception, quick accident handling, and serious accident handling, and analyzes the key points and difficulties of using mobile terminals in each task scenario. And corresponding requirements for existing terminal equipment. This study finds that the law enforcement recorder is a product category that the traffic police has a high demand in various police activities, has a variety of types of experience problems, and can represent the experience characteristics of police radios and police terminals to a certain extent. Therefore, we choose it as a typical product of police terminal equipment to carry out further research on the establishment and verification of the user experience model.
The second Study aims to establish the user experience model of law enforcement recorders. Based on literature analysis and interview record analysis conducted in Study 1, we first established a 24-item user experience questionnaire for law enforcement recorders, and collected the results of 197 police officers with experience in using law enforcement recorders. Through exploratory factor analysis, it is found that the two factors of "usability and ease of use" can explain the data better, and the internal consistency coefficient is high, and they are significantly correlated with the overall satisfaction of users, recommendation intention and perceived use benefit (p values <.01 ). The analysis shows that among all the user experience features, battery life, image clarity, night clarity, simplicity of archiving, and portability are the five most important features that users feel are law enforcement recorders.
In Study 3, a new batch of samples (N = 182) were collected to verify the user experience model of law enforcement recorders. The confirmatory factor analysis shows that the two-factor model of "usefulness and ease of use" has a high goodness of fit, indicating that the model has a good structural validity. Further analysis shows that the two factors are significantly related to user's overall satisfaction, recommendation intention and perceived use income. The second group of users rated the most important characteristics of the experience as battery life, image clarity, night clarity, portability, and ease of filing.
Taking law enforcement recorders as an example, this study constructed a user experience model of mobile police terminal equipment, based on the technology acceptance model (TAM), and extended its theory to explain and predict users' satisfaction with product experience through the usability dimension, supplementing the lack of empirical research on user experience models in the field of police equipment. The user experience model constructed in this research can be used to build a general usability standard for mobile police terminal equipment, guide the direction of product improvement and innovative design, improve the user experience level of industrial terminal equipment, and ultimately achieve the purpose of improving law enforcement efficiency, and provide support for promoting the establishment of a harmonious society. On the basis of this model, future research can increase the study of multi-police service scenarios, and verify the terminal equipment other than the law enforcement recorder, and constantly improve the model. |
