With the increasingly fierce social competition and the intensification of parental education anxiety, ”push kids to be the best ”has become a normal form of parental education. Facing the sudden learning pressure,it is difficult for primary school students to deal with correctly, and easy to become bored with learning, and even develop a feeling of boredom, which is not conducive to physical and mental health development. This study aims to explore the relationship between Parenting Style and Learning Burnout of primary school students,as well as the mediating role of Peer Relationship and Independent Mobility, and to find out the correlation relationship from the perspective of parents,peers and themselves, so as to provide clues and ideas for reducing the generation of Learning Burnout in primary school students.
In this study, 378 students and parents in grades 3-6 of primary schools were surveyed by self-compiled Questionnaire on Children's Independent Mobility Questionnaire, Short-form Egna Minnenav Barndoms Uppfostran for Chinese,Adolescent Learning Burnout Questionnaire and Children's Peer Relationship Scale,and a statistical analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics,significance test of difference, reliability tests, exploratory factor analysis,verification factor analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis,and a moderated mediation Model was constructed. The specific findings are as follows:
(1) The self-compiled questionnaire on Children's Independent Mobility has good credibility and velidity, and is suitable for use·
(2) The primary school students in grades 3-6 who participated in the survey, the detection rate of high Learning Burnout level was 8.8%,of which the detection rate of sixth grade students was 15.6%;the detection rate of mother's negative Parenting Style was 10.67% and that of father's negative Parenting Style was 10.13%,the detection rate of poor Peer Relationship was 10.66%, and the detection rate of insufficient Independent Mobility was 8.8%.
(3) In this study, the positive Parenting Style, Peer Relationship and the parental tolerance for Independent Mobility were significantly negatively correlated with Learning Burnout, and the negative Parenting Style was significantly positively correlated with Learning Burnout. The parental tolerance for Independent Mobility was significantly negatively correlated with the negative Parenting Style, significantly positively correlated with the positive Parenting Style and Peer Relationship, and the frequency of independent activity was significantly positive with Peer Relationship.
(4) Peer Relationship has a partial mediating role in the relationship between Parenting Style and Learning Burnout, Independent Mobility is the regulatory variable between the mother's negative Parenting Style and Peer Relationship,which regulates the first half of the mediating role.
The conclusions of this study show that, the relationship between Parenting Style and Learning Burnout in primary school students is mediated by Peer Relationships,while Independent Mobility regulate the relationship between mother's negative Parenting Styles and Peer Relationships.
